More of Suri / Raeford Photographer

I had to add a few more of Suri…these are my favorite for sure!  Just love how adorable she is!  I love her sweet little self!  Not only is she a good little subject, she is very dear to my heart as her mom and I are good friends.  She is very loved in our household and I hope mom and dad love these!  ~Kristin

Little Suri / Raeford Photographer

So I have run out of creativity in trying to come up with cute titles for my blog posts.  All my clients seem to start with sweet, cute, adorable…because they are!  Starting today, I’m going to use first names only…it will make it much easier on poor me :)  Anyway, this is sweet (notice I used sweet LOL), little Suri.  I have been photographing her since she was born.  She is always so soft spoken and kind when she sees me.  I just love how those brilliant blue eyes light up against her dark hair.  This shoot was so much fun…I have more to share, but just a few for mom tonight.  ~Kristin

Deme - Beautiful. You make me want to have a wedding just so you can take some pictures. I **LOVE** the jumping one.. you are so creative..

Super Fun / Fayetteville Wedding Photographer

So, Cory and I have recently started photographing weddings again.  Back in the “good old days,” we did quite a few weddings, but that was before we  each had two very small children, close in age.  We decided to take a break from that part of our business while our family grew, but have always held a special fondness for being wedding photographers in our hearts.  We are both blessed with loving marriages, and what better way to spend a day then surrounded by people in love and full of life?  This wedding was special and so fun.  I am just posting a couple of photos as I’m working through them (Cory already posted some awesome ones).  I love wedding details and moments…oh and super cool set up images…love everything about weddings I guess, except for the lack of time to be as artistic as I want to be (that would take hours, ha).  Hope these put a smile on your face and love in your heart… ~Kristin

wedcoljpgimg_0589img_0616Oh I love this last one…her and her daughter …how sweet…ahhh

Cathy - That's a gorgeous dress, and I absolutely love the shoes. :)

Angelic Birthday Girl / Linden Photographer

You can’t help but adore this little one when you meet her.  She was full of smiles and joy…all a one year old should be!  We had fun sitting her near the flowers at the Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville.  I LOVE hats and wanted so badly to get some great shots of her in her froggy hat, but the ones you see here are all I got.  She did not want the hat on, so I conceded :)  I miss this time of the soft chubby cheeks and the baby faces and legs…hair that is still coming in…  It reminds me of my kids, before they lost their baby looks and my sweet girl’s curly locks just like little “A” here.  Enjoy these times…they go quickly and are so precious.  Hope you see the true heart of your little girl in these preview photos! ~Kristin

Pam Stedman - Love the preview pictures and can't wait to see all of them! A's Gran

Rebecca S - I love them! I was extremely surprised you were able to get the shots in the green hat as well. :) I look foward to seeing the rest and trying to make the decision on which ones to order.

Kia - I've always said she looks like the Gerber Baby, she DEFINITELY does in the Green Hat pics. As always, Kristin, you and Cory are both amazing!! Rebecca- Good luck narrowing down! :)

Belated Happy Mother’s Day…

I just wanted to say a belated Happy Mother’s Day to my dear clients.  I’m sorry this is late in coming, but it has been a crazy few weeks.  We have been traveling and had a ballet recital and the list goes on and on and on…  :)  IT IS WONDERFUL TO BE A MOM!  No matter how busy or crazy my life gets, my children can make me smile, laugh and cry.  I am so beyond thankful that God has thought me worthy of taking care of these two precious beings for a short time on this earth.  Anyway, I want to say thank you to all of you who trust me to photograph your little miracles.  It brings me such great joy to capture your children as they grow and to give to you the gift of these sweet times captured forever on film.  I know that my own photographs are a treasure and I am honored and humbled each time I give a mother (and father, grandparents, aunts, uncles… you get the picture) their prints, albums or gifts and they are speechless.  Photographs can take your breath away, they can captivate you and give you happiness…   I’ve said it many times but, I love my job and I truly love being able to bring you some joy also.  HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!    Best always, Kristin

Oh and I just had to add one of this sweet, angelic little girl.  Just 1 year old and look at those squeezable cheeks and that soft curly hair!  She was a doll…more to come!

Grandchildren… / Fayetteville Photographer

I had the pleasure recently of photographing the 4 grandchildren of a fun lady.  I had no idea that day what an amazing shoot I was in for as I arrived at one of the prettiest homes and gardens I’ve ever seen.  This place was truly a photographer’s dream as a setting!  Along with the gorgeous surroundings, throw in 4 beautiful children that were happy to be at grandma’s house, and we had a lot of fun!  The kids were truly lost in running through the lovely flowers and shrubs.  I can’t even describe how picture perfect it was…I hope you get some idea from the photos.  There are a lot of photos posted …beware…I went a little wild!

I truly wish “S” Family that you enjoy these images.   I hope they bring the memories that only a relationship between grandma and child can bring.  I know that my kids adore their grandparents and that their grandparents are pretty fond of them also. :)   I’ve heard that being a grandparent is even better than being a parent, because you can truly relax, and enjoy the time, do the fun things and then send them home!  Happy Mother’s day to this Grandma and to the wonderful mommies who were there helping me too!  Thank you, thank you for the honor and joy of photographing your family! ~Kristin

Simply precious isn’t she?

Christina Shaw - Very cool... The pictures feel timeless. This could be now, or 100 years ago...(although I doubt a 100 years ago they had such great photographers as you) They are a treasure to behold. I am sure the family must be very pleased. The surroundings to look gorgeous. There is so much life in the images, one almost feels like one is seeing a movie... the images move.

Dawn - I agree with Christina "Timeless" They are so very precious. Great Job Kristin.

andi laine - oh my gosh - beautiful kristin! i want to live where you do - the colors are amazing!

Happily Ever After | Fayetteville Photographer

And they lived happily ever after!  Kristin and I had the opportunity to photograph a wonderful wedding a few weeks ago. “S” and “B” are so in love and striving to put Christ in the center of their life & marriage. Marriage is an amazing gift from God, taking a lifetime journey of humility, perseverance, forgiveness, trust, fun, hope, faith, and love.  When my friend “T” asked Kristin and I to photograph the wedding we were happy to do so…I’ve known “T” for 10 years and have gotten to know “S” through her Mom (had to post one of mom & “S” here, of course). Congratulations “S” and “B”, may God bless your marriage as you grow closer to Him and one another. ~with love, Cory

Deme - These are great..can't wait to see more.. Love the sneakers.

Teri - Cory, these are gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us on this most special day!

Dawn - Wow, I love the ones in the car. They are just not the norm and they are so sweet. What an amazing job you guys do.

Christina Shaw - She is gorgeous... That was a wonderful wedding photography job. I love the pictures Cory/Kristin.... I am so proud. My favorite is the one where he is kissing her hand, he looks like he is crying. So Happy. I also love when she is hugging her mom (I think), she looks so gloriously joyful. Great pictures, you captured beautiful moments in the lives of these newly weds and all around them

Life’s Little Comforts / Fayetteville Photographer

This session was filled with sweet little comfort items that mom and dad lovingly brought along for “C.”  These are “C’s” 1 year photos and I just love the one with the koala bear.  Take a good look …she is only a year old and that little stuffed animal is worn from lots of love already.  I really enjoy when children are photographed with some of their “lovies,” because it says so much about who they are at this point in life.  It makes me think of my own children, my daughter who has had her pink blankie since she was 4 months old and still at 5 is attached to it.  What lives we live as parents to be able to watch these little people change and grow into their own people…to develop their own likes and dislikes!  Thank God for this time!

Back to this sweet little one, we didn’t get a huge number of smiles because poor baby was suffering so much with her allergies.  We did manage a few though…the last one you can see she was able to coax us to give her dad’s watch and that got a smile :)  Hope you enjoy your preview “L” Family! ~Kristin

More Sweet Little Flower / Hope Mills Photographer

Here are a few more from my earlier post.  What a little southern belle this baby is!  She was so intrigued with the dogwoods and azaleas around her.  She fit right in with the spring flowers.  Love little “E” and her family too…~Kristin
